Screen.Dance is a programme of events and awards dedicated to celebrating the art and creativity of innovative dance on screen. Screen dance is an expanding genre of artist's moving image created by combining choreography with the language of cinema. Screen.Dance is Scotland’s only festival of dance on screen sits within the Perth Dance Festival 2019 with screenings of short films and free public seminars of presentations from international artists. It takes place over 3 days at the newly renovated Perth Theatre, Mill Street Perth Scotland.

In the 2019 edition of Screen.Dance, Omari 'Motion' Carter participated as a judge for the winners of the festival and also facilitated a symposium for artists wishing to attend the festival and make a presentation about their work. Alongside this The Motion Dance Collective ran a bespoke Screendance Lab at the festival. 

 

Films were shown during a two day public symposium of 4 free presentation sessions to share the artists' perspectives and the current state of the art in screendance.
